Company Introduction

History
AA American Moving & Storage, LLC ("AA American") is a certified MBE/WBE service provider, minority-owned and operated since our founding in Colorado Springs in 1987 by our President, William "Bo" Matthews.

In 1990- Mr. Matthews relocated AA American to Denver, and foreseeing the niche for a specialized commercial moving company, Bo began to revise his service plans and redirect the focus of AA American.  

1994 and 95" marked the addition of Ronnell Richmond, our current Vice President, and Andre Richmond, our current Operations Manager, respectively.  During their first two years Ronnell and Andre worked as crew members on our Public Service and Lockheed Martin contracts.  As a result of their "hands-on" experience, they are able to identify out-dated industry protocol and operational procedures.  Their combined vision to revamp specific moving techniques paired with Bo's goal of specialized corporate relocation paved the way for the unique move process that AA American now uses in our everyday work.

Corporate Relocation Services
Unlike most moving companies who split their attention between residential and corporate moves, AA American focuses 100% of our attention on our corporate client needs.  Each of our clients' relocation projects is unique, and AA American takes pride in the flexibility of our techniques, and their suitability to projects both large and small.

AA American offers technical move services (servers, laboratories, clean rooms, computer labs) and traditional move services (standard office relocation) including: move coordinationspace planningsystems furniture installation,  and product warehousing.  Our letters of recommendation speak powerfully to our dedication and performance as a team to making your relocation a pleasant experience.

Dedicated Crew
Most moving companies have high turn-over rates and significant "temp" labor substitutes.  AA American has been able to cultivate long-term relationships with its employees.  Because traditional move methods are labor-intensive, traditional moving companies tend to lose their crew as the laborers find work outside the industry.  Conversely, because AA American's methods are equipment-intensive as opposed to labor-intensive, we have been able to maintain mutually rewarding relationships with our employees.  Now in our fifteenth year, AA American's staff size has reached 50 full time employees, each having a minimum of 1.5 years, with 30% having 4-6 years experience with our company using our exclusive move techniques.

To ensure the quality of our personnel, each of our applicants must pass drug screening and a background investigation before they are offered a position with AA American.
